Healing Divorce With Horses

Equines are one of the best learning resources for people who want to “get in touch” with their feelings and really begin to heal.  In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to experience nature-centered emotional growth, explore unresolved feelings, and begin to experience a new perspective on your life.

Equines are masters at non-verbal communication and will provide immediate and honest feedback. Because equines are “prey” animals, they must be vigilant about their environment in order to stay safe. Hence, they have developed remarkable abilities to assess their environment and mirror the situation back to the rest of the herd in order to survive.

Moreover, equines communicate in non-verbal ways often mirroring our personal emotions and inner dynamics in a moment to moment way. Equines only live in the present and have much to teach us about a mindful way of living-be present to all there is in the moment.

 Horses and donkeys can facilitate our  emotional learning in deep and meaningful ways. In the natural peaceful setting at Denim ‘n DirtRanch, we also facilitate learning by our “group processing” of our equine experiences.
